Normal Kyle-
When Kyle is in his normal state he is kind, trusting, funny, and all around good guy. He finds it hard not to help someone when his help is asked for. He is not the kind of guy to turn down anyone no matter who they are or what they are. He is also known for being one of the few Shinigami who respect both Vizards, and Arrancar; so long as they don't threaten the ones he cares about.
Kyle is also known for the warm, kind, and gentle smiles he tends to flash no matter the situation. His smiles are known to bring the moral of everyone within his division up. He also has the natural skills of a leader, and is always showing his brother Shin that he is not a useless brother, or family member. Kyle is also known for coming up with brash yet effective tactics in the heat of battle. He is also quite calm under fire, and his judgement remains as if he were walking around SS.
Kyle is also known for trying to make his Brother Shin proud of him. Everything Kyle does as a Shinigami is to gain the support, respect, and pride of his family, and his brother. Shin is the only man whom Kyle will follow without hesitation, and will carry out any order given to him no matter what it may be.
Kyle is also known to be oblivious when it comes to love. He tends to take flirtying as another form of complimenting someone on their looks or personality. This often ends up with him getting a red hand mark across his face due to him flat out rejecting them or leading them on; when he doesn't mean to at all.
Kyle's demonic side:
When Kyle doesn't have a flower or some thing that reminds him of a flower he will go into a state that brings fear to everyone who know him, or have heard about his 'other' side. This side brings fear to everyone that knows what Kyle is able to do when in this state. He tends to want to fight everyone, and everything in this state. He manly does everything he does due to wanting people to fear, and hate him so he doesn't have to worry about others trying to go near him. When in this state Kyle likes to be called Ripper, due to him having a love for ripping things apart no matter what it is or was. All that Ripper wants is to kill, and prove he is stronger than everyone that might prove to be a threat to him,and his way of life.
When in this state Ripper acts like he's Gods given gift to the world. Ripper likes to start fights with people, and he likes to win them. Kyle was born into the Yamashina family, and like all the other males in the family he was cast out of the house to learn to live on his own, and to make a name for himself, and learn how to be a true soldier/Shinigami. Once he was out on his own he quickly made his way to become a true son of Yamashina and earn himself a name in his family, as well as earn the respect of his brother Shin who had quickly risen up the ranks to the Shinigami, and had earn the right to be named the head of the family. Kyle, wanted to rise to his brothers status in both honor, and respect. While Kyle was looking around for a chance to get into the Academy, he made note of all the people or rather souls working through their lives within the soul society. It gave Kyle a warm feeling to see. Yet at the same time it also pissed him right the fuck off. He wasn't quite sure why he had two different feelings, and he wasn't at all happy to know one was a bitter and rather evil one. The one side wanted to protect while the other wanted nothing more than to kill all those who dared get in his way. Kyle did his best to control the evil, and yet demonic like feelings.
When Kyle had reached a few years into his life in the SS he started to lose himself. He started feeling the urges to kill, and destroy everything around him. He had to get this under his control, so he quickly made his way to join the ranks of the Shinigami. He was quickly accepted into the school due to his abilities and his family ties, and his families status and history among the Shinigami. Kyle made sure not to do anything that would put his family name in a bad light or his brother.
After he was made a Shinigami he quickly made his way to join the 5th division which he had wanted to join due to them mainly being a military unit then anything else. It seemed to suit him the most unlike the others. He wasn't a coward who liked to hide in the shadows like those in 2nd division, and he wasn't at all good at healing Kido; which was normal for men in his family since no male was able to truly do anything other than heal a small scar, anything more, and they would be useless. After he was stationed with 5th division he began his slow rise through the ranks. Like any male in his family he showed a high level of control, power, and honor while performing the duties of a Shinigami.
One day though it all changed. The day he lost control to his demonic self. He lost his mind when he saw the woman he had fallen in love will die to the hands of the a Vasto Lorde. His eyes began to change to a redish colour, and he started saying things that started to scare some of his fellow Shinigami. As they were about leave the Vasto Lorde as Kyle had ordered them to, they all looked in fear as they saw what Kyle had become. He looked as if he was going to rip everthing apart, and he looked like he was even willing to rip apart his fellow Shinigami. They all made their way back to SS to warn Shin of what was happening with Kyle.
When Shin arrived to the area he was met by a raveged land scape that looked as if it was ripped apart. The remains of the Vasto Lorde were everywhere. Shin quickly found Kyle as his normal self, clinging to his lost lover. When they returned Shin made all efforts with Kyle to hid his other side, and make sure that there would never again be a time when he would lose control. The only thing that was able to hold back Kyle's darker self were white, or black flowers. Each flower was replaced every few years, due to the kido being used to maintain them losing their effect.
4oo years passed and Kyle had risen up the ranks of 5th division, and had earned, or rather proved he was worthy of his family name.
