A tanned man with purple hair, was standing in front of a forest with the sun to his back. In his mouth was a wooden pipe, with the end of it resting in his left hand. He was wearing a black robe, with a thin white jacket over top, with the single stroke for one in Japanese on the back. He would have stood out, in a crowd, except he was standing alone. If one looked at him, one would get the impression that he was waiting for him. If one was to approach him they would get the feeling of someone calm and relaxed personality. The man withdrew the pipe from his mouth, and exhaled a small cloud of blue smoke. Putting the pipe back into his mouth, he took out a small pocket watch, and looked at the time. 10:20 am. Ten minutes until he was to arrive. Placing the poektwatch back into his robes, he inhaled some of the smoke that was emitted from the pipe. The man's name was Shin Yamashina, the Captain of the First Division, and the leader of the Shinigami.
