The Hollow Form is a powerful thing. It is, as we've seen, effortlessly capable of holding its own and beating Segunda Etapa (Ichigo vs. Cifer) as well as beating several Captains and a handful of Lt. (Kensei vs. the other Vizards)
As such, a limiter is going to be placed on all Vizards (save Armond and Methias for ovious reasons if you keep reading) The limiter works like this.
When a Vizard is able to reach their Hollow form, Armond and Methias will fight until they are forced into the Hollow Form. Once they enter it a limiter is placed. This limiter works differently than the Shinigami Limiter. It does not restrict reiatsu, it puts a cap on it. It doesn't allow the Vizard to exceed that limit.
Of course the limiter can be orcibly broken...but then it's suicide. If the limiter is broken (which takes a massive amount of reiatsu), then the person will have two posts to remain conscious. Afterward, the pain shooting through their body will force their body to shut down, leaving them vulnerable to attack. Nobody can avoid that.
The limiter can be removed only by Armond and Methias (hence why they don't have one, because they can remove it themselves)
