Likes: Solitude, proving how naive his master's comparatively passive philosophy is, direct and to the point attitudes
Habits: Kuromira is the proverbial quiet type most of the time. He is prone to ignoring commentary from others and usually only responds if what is being talked about directly pertains to whatever his focus is currently locked onto.
Personality: Kuromira's personality is that of what some would call the ideal warrior; cold, ruthless, devoid of any apparent emotion, and willing to cut down any foe who would dare stand before him. This however is not entirely the case as he is capable of forming attachments, and has even come to be somewhat fond of some of his master's closer friends. Although he'd never admit this even to Chevalier.
Connection to Master: Kuromira and Chevalier are two sides of the same coin, with Kuromira occupying the role of the soul's dark side.
Similarities: Due to Kuromira being the darker reflection of Chevalier's soul the similarities between the two are few and skewed beyond casual recognition. The only traits that can really be considered a similarity are the deep sense of loyalty he has towards anyone he's formed an attachment to and the intense focus he brings to any task he sets his mind on.

Looks: In his first released form Kuromira takes on a shape reminiscent of the Japanese Hannya masks used in Noh and various other theater forms. The body of the mask is crafted from a single piece of highly polished bone-like substance and has been carved to perfectly fit over Chevalier's face. The most notable features on this portion of the mask are the strangely carved eyeslits and the blood red markings which run down it's center in a claw-like pattern, following a similar track to the path Chevalier's fingers take when he summons the mask and ending in two tear like markings beneath the eyes. These features are given an even more fearsome appearance by two large horns which rise smoothly out from the mask's forehead region and a pair of mandible like tusks which jut forward from the base of it's jaw.
Summoning: Chevalier is capable of summoning his mask by executing what appears to be a self-clawing type action running along a vertical path down his face, during which his face is enveloped in a burst of spiritual energy. In order to dismiss the mask he must seemingly punch himself in the face, causing it to shatter into dozens of reiatsu formed sakura petals before dissipating into nothingness.
Special Ability: 遮光体 (Shakō-tai, Shield of Light) – Upon donning his mask Chevalier gains the ability to create a form fitting barrier of bent light-waves and spiritual energy which is invisible to the naked eye unless he is in motion yet burns to the touch. When moving at a run or faster, the light passing through the barrier is warped as if passing through a prism, leaving a trail of multicolored afterimages trailing in it's wake. The only exception to this being when using shunpo, at which point the afterimages are moving too fast to be perceived and thus only appear at the moment of entry and upon exiting, therefore not betraying the user's movements. While this effect is interesting and has a slight possibility of confusing a slow witted opponent, it is mostly a cosmetic side effect and not the Shakō-tai's true purpose. What the Shakō-tai is truly meant for and where it truly excels is defending against kido and other energy based attacks. Kuromira's barrier is a unique blending of reiatsu and light which is capable of harmlessly deflecting energy techniques equivalent in power to a Hado 60 and even able to reflect back techniques equivalent in to a Hado 31. As an added benefit, the smooth and form fitting nature of Kuromira's barrier is able to reduce the user's atmospheric resistance when moving at higher speeds, thus enabling Chevalier to move and react to situations faster then he would otherwise when not wearing his mask.

Looks: Upon entering Resurreccion, Chevalier's skin takes on a strange bluish-green tone, similar to that of his inner hollow (see picture above). The mask seen during his initial hollowfacation remains in place, although darkening in color, while the rest of his outfit is replaced with what appears to be a form fitting black exoskeleton reminiscent of plate mail. The exoskeleton's limbs are adorned with several metal wing like devices which are modeled after those of a bird and reinforced for the purpose of deflecting blows away from vital areas of the body. Attached to it's back are six larger versions of the wing devices seen covering the exoskeleton's surface. These wings are fully functional and when spread give the wearer the appearance of some kind of dark seraph, truly a sight to behold.

Special Ability: 新星要塞 (Shinsei yōsai, Nova Fortress) – In his Resurreccion form
Kuromira's control of the Shakō-tai improves dramatically, enabling him to now deflect powers equivalent to Hado 80 and reflect abilities up to Hado 50. Unfortunately while in this form he is unable to maintain the enhanced speed granted to him by the Shakō-tai as the surface of his body now has too much drag to grant an appreciable enhancement to his speed despite the smooth nature of the barrier. This is somewhat compensated for to a lesser degree by his newly acquired wings which increase his aerial maneuverability by a noticeable margin.

翼光 (Tsubasa Hikari, Wings of Light) – A simple yet effective short range attack, albeit not very original. By channeling additional reiatsu into the Shinsei yōsai along the wings on his back the user is able to turn them into high-powered energy blades, which he is then able to use to attack his target by making a series of sweeping passes from either the air or ground.
死の羽 (Shinohane, Death Feathers) – A mid-range derivative of the Tsubasa Hikari, the user channels additional spiritual energy into the barrier running along his wings and then launches 60 spiritually charged, serrated, feather shaped blades at his target with a hard flap of his wings.
影曲げる (Kagemageru, Shadow Bend) – By temporarily changing the charge of his spiritual energy to shift light frequencies, the user is able to use the Shinsei yōsai to further adjust the frequencies of light he is able to absorb and reflect around himself and temporarily become invisible to the naked eye. Using the barrier in this manner however temporarily disables it's defensive properties as it is incapable of both blocking energy attacks and cloaking the user at the same time. All other technique's known may be used while hidden, but if said ability involves the Shinsei yōsai then the user will immediately become visible again upon using the technique.
