Valintine was being worked like a dog. Thankfully, it was almost over. He only had two more jobs after this and he'd be done. He was happy with what was going on though. This mission was taking place in the Antarctic. The reason for a location here was because this was where the loneliest Shinigami was. He wasn't truly alone. He was dressed in his winter Arrancar outfit for obvious reasons. Albeit the cold didn't really bother him, freezing temperatures did. His outfit was made with fake fur, and was insulated all over. His top was all white. It had a white fitted upper body with a black fur-lined white hood. He also had on black insulated gloves. On his face were black tinted goggles, the kind that didn't fog up. His pants were all white. They had a black fur trim, and he also wore a pair of black boots. His hood was up and he was looking around.
Of all the places he's been this was by far the worst. His vision was reduced, and that would be a problem. He walked about as the wind blew and threatened to chill him to his core. He calmed his mind to focus on the reiatsu in the area. There were little to no Hollow in this area due to how cold it was. He did pick up some Shinigami headed his way though. He only sensed two and that was good for him. He didn't want a long fight. And he sure as hell didn't want to put up with any dramatic bullshit. Shinigami seemed to enjoy hearing themselves talk. Two should be bearable. He stood there and waited for them to appear. Eventually they did. They wore winter like clothing as well. No signs of the Soul Society were on them, so Valintine assumed they were rouge. That was fine by him. He really couldn't care less. He just needed the damn blade. He couldn't kill them man though. If the Shinigami died, the sword died. He rubbed his temples. It would be very hard to not kill the Shinigami, but he had to try.
He waited a few minutes but eventually they got within speaking distance within this storm. One was a male and the other a female. The female had the highest reiatsu, so he figured she was his target. She didn't say anything to him. She just nodded to the male who drew his sword and rushed Valintine. Valintine summoned his blade and defended against the slash. He widened his stance to brace himself as the blades crashed together. Valintine looked into the eyes of the male. He was striking with deadly intent. That was fine by Valintine. He didn't need this man. The woman wasn't moving, which was also fine. He had heard of this pathetic "code of honor" the Shinigami had. One versus one was the basis of it. It was lame by Valintine's standards. He kicked the Shinigami away and and charged at him. His jian's tip was touching the snow lightly as she brought it up in a horizontal slash. The male deflected it up and away and kicked Valintine in the ribs, and forced him to fall on his back. He got up in time to avoid a slash from the zanpakuto. He looked at the male and vanished in a sonido.
He reappeared next to him, attempting a slice at his arm. It hit, but the man was on the move so the cut was shallow. The male turned and fired hado number four at him. Valintine countered with his own lightning strike. The male tilted his head for a moment, but didn't let Valintine's power stall him for long. He rushed Valintine again. The males traded blows. Valintine blocked, dodged, got hit and parried. The other male followed his movements. Both males were fighting on the same level, but the Shinigami upped the anti. "Touch and go, Noborizaka." Valintine stood there and snow blew everywhere from the blast of reiatsu. In his shikai, the Shinigami's blade didn't change, but Valintine knew better than to let his guard down. He was right to not let his guard down either. The male vanished at an astonishing speed. Valintine barely had time to block the blade. And when he did the force shot through his body and broke the earth under him. "Noborizaka doubles my physical stats along with the increase I already get from being in Shikai anyway...Now then..." He rushed Valintine and Valintine was having trouble keeping up now.
They traded blows and Valintine was breaking a sweat. He didn't release just yet. He wanted to save it for the true threat. He just had to make it through this. He had to outlast this Shinigami. Valintine saw himself and other Arranar as a Hollow. They were only Hollow, just high up on the chain. Existing on a plane higher than other Hollow. Even so, even though they were just advanced Hollow, Valintine was going to kick this Shinigami's spiritual ass. He played defensively though, firing lightning to keep him away when he needed to and blocking what attacks he could. Valintine was eventually kicked and snow blew up and flew everywhere as he hit the ground hard. He sat up and rubbed the back of his head. The Shinigami landed a few feet away. He walled up to Valintine. The Arrancar used the snow to hide his movement of pushing his blade down to his feet. The Shinigami stood over Valintine and sighed. He raised his sword. Valintine used his feet to get his blade. The Shinigami thrust his blade down, Valintine knocked the blade aside, and rose his lower body up with the handle of his sword between his feet. His blade pierced the Shinigami's throat. Valintine let out a long sigh as the Shinigami's blood spilled over Valintine and into the snow as well. He removed his blade and pushed the body off of him.
He stood up, and no sooner did he stand and get his blade than was the fist of the woman at his back. He tumbled forward and slid to the edge. He got up and the foot of the Shinigami female connected to his face. Valintine flew through the air again. She followed up by dropping onto him, her knees crashing into his chest. He was really tempted to kill this bitch. She was powerful, and if he released he'd be virtually naked and exposed to the elements. On top of that, he would be in danger of killer her. The woman threw blinding fast punches at Valintine, and every one connected. Valintine was either really slow, or she was really fast. He tried his hardest to keep up. He eventually got used to the movements and his sluggish movements picked up speed. He tried to keep up again, and managed to do a bit better. He could see her limbs move at the start of things. He just had to be a bit faster. Fuck it.
"Reavivar, Angel." Valintine released his true power. As he spoke the blade made a full circle, leaving a trail of feathers in it's wake. The feathers hung there suspended, and when the circle was completed Valintine's reiatsu exploded. The feathers circled Valintine moving faster and faster. Winds picked up traveling to Valintine from every direction and circling around him. He stood at the base of a tornado within seconds. Lightning bagan sprouting from this tornado. Getting hit by it was not recommended. Eventually a bright emerald light could be seen from the bottom of the tornado, and the light rose to the center. Valintine's wounds healed as he went into this next stage. Valintine's appearance changed a bit as well. Part of his mask reforms. A visor forms over his eyes. The eye-hole of the visor is a thin opening that reaches from one eye to the other. It is thin and colored emerald green, like his reiatsu. The visor reaches to his ears, and covers the top of his nose. The visor, however, is able to come up to sit atop his head. It has no special effect if it's up or down, just a unique feature. His hair extends to his shoulders as well, and seems to get lighter.
His torso is changed in terms of physical features as well as clothing. His shirt rips away and is replaced with a black sash. The sash wraps around his wrist, elbow, behind his neck, and mirrors the previously mentioned locations on his other side. There is a good two feet of sash before and after his wrist. Also, he gains large white wings on his back. Oddly enough though these wings do not break, they cannot bleed, and they cannot be damaged. The wings, should they be hit, would split apart into hundreds of feathers, and then reform.
His lower half is covered by multiple layers of black and white cloth that wraps around his waist and down each leg. The cloth only shows small sections of his skin. His feet are bare, however, this doesn't seem to bother him. He looked down at the woman. She had avoided all the lightning that struck which was good for her. She began to pull out her Zanpakuto but Valintine refused to allow her. He threw a blast of wind at her knocking her back a couple dozen feet. Valintine flew down to her, gripped her by the neck, and proceeded to rip up her back by flying along the ground with her body pushed into it. After a moment or two he threw her along the ground and shot three lightning bolts at her. The first one missed because she somehow managed to roll over. The other two were direct hits. She struggled up and Valintine landed in front of her.
He kicked her hard enough to break a few ribs, and then shocked her a few more times. She staggered to get up. She still hadn't had time to draw her sword. He really was irritated now. He was freezing his ass off, and she just refused to stay down. Thank whatever god Arrancar acknowledge for garganta. Valintine walked over to her and pinned her down with his foot on her throat. Reaching down he took her zanpakuto. He quick blew her a kiss before turning and leaving her in the frozen wasteland. He estimated a little over a day and a half before she froze to death.
