How it looks when it's folded: When folded it is just a small (no bigger than your thumb nail) and it looks like a sheet of metal.
Effect: EXIT is a device that is fused into the Arrancar's nervous system from behind there ear (meaning it's plugged directly into the brain) It is built to repel reiatsu from it so that it doesn't break. The EXIT is weightless though, or at least feels like it. With a single thought it can unfold or fold. It can record situations and store it in it's massive memory. It can play any recorded memory it has, fast forward it, rewind, pause so on and so on with a single thought. It is also linked to EXIT's network so that with a single thought it can upload information from your unit to the mainframe. It can also pull memory from the mainframe. Just think the subject, it will come up on the screen, think about what you want to select and presto! You are now either reading or watching memory.
It can also be commanded by voice. Each unit is registered to a single Exequias' voice. Using one's voice you can record text. Text can also be uploaded. The EXIT may also take pictures with a single thought. EXIT is used to gather information only. There are special units that are given to the Exequias only that allow for communication. There is a device in these units that allow the communication system to bypass realm barriers. Meaning an Exequias can talk from the Human World to Hueco Mundo. Or Soul Society, to Hueco Mundo (etc.) Normal Units are only able to have an "IM" type of capability. IMing is capable with thought or voice. Exequias units have this ability as well. Each unit is shock, water and rust proof. When the user dies, the unit self destructs. Once infused with the user, the unit cannot be removed. Should it be somehow, it will explode.
